Jesus said, “Let the children come to Me.  Don’t stop them!  for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children.”  Matthew 19:14NLT

Here is an App you can use to disciple your kids on Sundays and throughout the week

The Children’s Ministry serves newborns through 5th graders.  Though it might appear that our role is simply childcare or babysitting, our goal is to show God’s love and plant foundational truths from God’s Word that will stick with and carry each child into the next stage of their spiritual growth.  Relationship building is important to us as well, so we strive to create an environment that is safe and fun.  From the friendly greeter at the sign in cart to the teachers, helpers and other kids in class we want your child to feel welcome and to begin new friendships that may last a lifetime.

Currently we are taking a 3 year chronological journey through the Bible.  Each lesson has a main point and connects to Jesus.  You can get a snapshot of our curriculum at thegospelprojectforkids@lifeway.com.  We are very excited about this quality program for kids.

Our Children’s Ministry is working to utilize the volunteers available to provide options for your family and the needs of your children. The 10:45am Worship Service has classes for Preschoolers, Kindergarten and 1st graders, and 2nd through 5th graders.  When you arrive, look for the check-in table in the fellowship hall of the church. When you check in, the person will let you know what classroom number they will need to go to.  Check your children in and then the children will go into the main assembly with you for the Praise and Worship time.  It will be announced when the children are dismissed to their classes.   You can walk them back to the classroom at this time.  In Room 8 there is an unstaffed nursery.  There is an area available for changing diapers.

Beyond the weekend services, we also hope to equip you to make disciples in your home.  Our curriculum has suggestions for conversation starters and activities to do with your children as well as interactive apps and emails that all reinforce the Sunday lessons.

All staff must fill out an application and undergo a background check.  You can identify us by our name tags.
