When I Visit…

What are the Worship Service Times?
Worship Service Times:  9:00am to 10:15am 1st Worship Service
                                     Fellowship Time
                                     10:45am to 12:00pm 2nd Worship Service
What about Adult Bible Education Classes?
There is an Adult Bible Education Class during the 9:00am hour.  Tony Montoya is the teacher for this and they study books of the Bible or various topics.
What is available for my children?
Our Children’s Ministry serves newborns through 5th grade.  Though it might appear that our role is simply childcare or babysitting, our goal is to show God’s love and plant foundational truths from God’s Word that will stick with and carry each child into the next stage of their spiritual growth.
There is a class for Toddlers – 5th Grade for the 9:00am Worship Service.  There is no staffed nursery but parents may use the nursery area.  The  10:45am Worship Service has Nursery for infants and two year olds as well as classes for Preschoolers, Kindergarten, and 1st graders, and 2nd    through 5th graders.  When you leave your children in the classrooms you will fill out a form for them to know your child better.
How do I dress?
Be comfortable, come as you are.  When you come you, will see people in shorts, jeans, t-shirts, slacks, dresses, and some wear ties.  Come wearing what you’re comfortable wearing.
What is the music like?
It is good to praise the LORD, and make music to your name, O Most High.  Psalm 92:1
Sometimes we sing a few songs – sometimes we sing more.  You will see guitars, saxophones, drums, bass guitars, keyboard, and sometimes even a banjo.
You will see people raise their hands to the LORD to show their gratitude and humility.  This is not a requirement.  Both Worship Services have the same music.
What is Communion?
This is a reminder that Jesus gave His life for us.  We take a small piece of bread and drink a small cup of grape juice that is symbolic of Jesus body and blood.  We take Communion each Sunday, taking this moment each week to examine our hearts and celebrate His sacrifice for us.
What is the offering?
We take an offering every Sunday.  This is an opportunity for our Church family to give to invest in the Lord’s work.
